Children have the opportunity to learn the instrument of their choice on a one-to-one basis including
Guitar, Violin, Piano and Keyboard.
All our juniors are taught to play the Recorder.
Ballet, Speech and Drama are taught in small groups with children regularly participating in local
festivals and taking the LAMDA and the Imperial Ballet national examinations.
Children's speaking skills are also encouraged through Assembly participation. The Infant and Pre
School classes put on two performances for parents each year giving the children the opportunity to
display their many talents.
Singing is an integral part of the school's cultural life with a variety of musical presentations
regularly featuring on the school calendar and often for charity.
The highlight of the musical year is a concert which takes place at the Gladstone Theatre,
Port Sunlight and includes a well-known musical performed by our Junior department.
The curriculum is supported by a variety of educational visits and the opportunity to attend the
theatre.
